Capture Visualiser

Postby watty » 18 Jan 2018, 14:21

Is it possible to view a running playback or whole running show in Capture Visualiser?

The internal Capture Visualiser will display the whole running show. If you are in blind mode it will additionally show the contents of the blind programmer and any playbacks set to blind however it will still show the live output as well.

Thanks for the reply. Please can you explain how to see a running playback or show in Capture Visualiser? If I open Capture Visualiser I can see the contents of the programmer in Visualiser, However, when I run a show nothing appears. Am I missing something here - should it automatically show the output of the console or are there any settings which may cause it not to work?

I'm just going to have to say it:

Is the grand master (or, similarly, playback master or group master) at zero?

Thanks Nick for the suggestion - all comments gratefully received. Maybe it was :? I spent a lot of time on the console (Titan Mobile) a week or so back setting up fixtures in Visualiser until late into the night and could not see any playbacks - I may well have set a master at zero without realising  Just switched it on to check settings and all is well :D

In DMX settings make sure that Visualser output is turned on.

In this case the programmer output would not work either.
