Just had a question and was curious if this is something possible in Avolites or if I'm shooting for something that isn't doable or reasonable.
In my most recent MA2 file I was able to create a setup where I had a High Bump and Low Bump executor thats color would change to what I had selected within the color picker for high and low bump color. Is this something I'm able to create in Avo or would I have to record each color as its own cue? In MA i basically created a pool where each selected color would reference all fixtures and the respective color I had selected, so for example if my fixtures were white and I set red as my high bump color and blue as my low bump, when i hit each executor it would bump those colors, but i could change to a different bump color on the fly using my HIgh/Low Bump color picker I'd built.
I'm new to working with Avolites Macros so if its something thats possible with a Macro I probably just need some guidance on where to start.
TIA!

Re: Question From an MA User: High/Low Color Bump
Hi mate,
If im understanding correclty, I use the pixel mapper to achieve this. If you record the FX masters as groups you can treat them as fixtures (create pallettes for them). Then i assign all my normal colour pallettes to them. Then i make a playback where the intesnsity for all the FX masters is always 100% (and have this playback turn on on console startup). Then when you go to make the pixel mapper effect, choose the fixtures you want to affect, assign a large square over all of them and make sure you have use master selcted on your layer. Then when you assign a colour to the selected FX master thats the colour your square will turn too. Then record this to a flash button add your fades to it and voila.
Bit of a mess of an explantion but i hope you get the jist.
Also as you have access to 4 layer masters you could assign these to different fixtures if you wanted a variety in colour bumps at the same time or to run two different colour chases over the same fixtures at once. (This is also the method i use to create my colour chases).
