T3 problem, USB Expert Console says "The In Pipe is not being read from"

Postby oriolcolomer » 17 Aug 2026, 19:43

hi, ive been working on a show for the last 3 days. it is a timcoded show so i'm sending LTC from a computer+sound card to my T3 connected to my laptop. It has all worked great (i havent touched the setup at any point) until now, where my T3 first wouldnt light up its LEDs though still work (i fixed that by restarting both it and my laptop) and then suddenly it does not receive SMPTE. I opened USB Experrt Console and when I cycle usb ports in it, i get the following logs in status messages:
-(T3 Panel 1) Chip configuration checksum error! Expected a checksum of 0xF9001 but actually got 0x10EF001.
-(T3 SMPTE 8) Sending stopped for T3 SMPTE on endpoint 5
-(T3 DMX 1) Sending stopped for T3 SMPTE on endpoint 4
-(T3 DMX 1) Read failed. Device unavailable.
-(T3 SMPTE 8) The In Pipe is not being read from! This may cause the panel to become unresponsive.
-(T3 DMX 1) The In Pipe is not being read from! This may cause the panel to become unresponsive.
-Cycled 3 USB ports of 3 panels
-(T3 DMX 1) Read failed. Device unavailable.
-(T3 SMPTE 8) Read failed. Device unavailable.

I have tried repairing USB drivers multiple times and still nothing. Is there any way I can maybe do a hard reset? seems like it got stuck somehow and simply unplugging it doesnt do the trick so maybe its something stored in the consoles memory?

any help would be much appreciated, this just caught me in horrible timing during my busiest week, so i need to fix it asap. thanks!!!
