Postby bigears » 04 Jan 2013, 10:46

Hello everyone .

very new to Avolites and Titan mobile . I have been trying to update the fixture personality file from the website has per the manual. I download the file to my hard drive and then run the file . I can find the file on my system under downloads . but' after restarting the software and going to patch to find the new personalitys. they are not there ? two downloads and still no luck

Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong . Sorry for the dum question

Well it should be as simple as that. To confirm, you should be downloading 'TitanPCSuiteFixtureLibrary.exe'. Once downloaded you run this which will bring up a prompt asking if you want to install. Then start the Titan software.

4.2 to 6.1 is a big jump and there is a risk. I would suggest running it through the interim versions just in case. ie. download and install 5, load show, save show, download and install 6, load/save and finally download 6.1 and load. Check as much as possible (preferably at each stage to be sure).

Keep a copy of the original. As a last resort you can always uninstall 6.1 and go back to 4.2.
