Why exactly do you need version 1.6?

In that packet, there are two items: version 1.6 and 1.7. Seems that 1.6 is a pre-requisite for 1.7, that's why there is a batch program which first installs 1.6, and then 1.7. Thus, 1.6 is definitely included.

However, from my pov it seems that maybe the batch program is slightly wrong - but I have no means to test it right now.

If you explain a little bit more what you're up to, I am sure you'll find help.

i upgrade firmware OCZ solid2 V1.5 to V1.6 and V1.7

and that's exactly what the a.m. upgrade program should do: if I read the batch correctly, it checks the current firmware, then updates to 1.6 if required, and subsequently updates to 1.7 - if required.

Did you see any particular error message?
