have to reconnect/configure dmx-in after restart console
I have to reconnect/configure dmx-in everytime after restarting the tiger touch console. How can i preserve the dmx-in settings in "dmx settings" in System?

The biggest question is: why does this happen?
Essentially, all DMX output settings are stored in one file: c:\program files\Avolites\Titan\User\DmxInterfaces.usr. It might be worth trying to copy this file to another location (thumbdrive?) whilst the desk is running, and try to load it back from there upon the next start (maybe you'll need to restart software). Know that this file is explicitely made writeable during setup; you might wish to check the file's properties - maybe it's just read-only, and the software cannot store changed settings.
This is likely not to be advised as everyday practice. But I'd say there is a good chance your problem can be solved this way - and if yes, please give feedback to software@avolites.com (probably also use the log collector, and send the logs), so that the error can be tracked and solved.

Hi Icke,
Thanks for your answer and tips.
The strange thing is that the new DMX configuration seems stored, because it looks the same when reopening the DMX settings windows. Only, the dmx-in is not working.
But, after adding and removing dmx-out to and from Port B (my dmx-in port), the dmx-in is working again on Port B.
Ok, I will look at the read only property of the file and look at the log collector.

Stupid me, you mentioned DMX IN right from beginning...
However, can you explain the steps to re-produce the problems? Because I cannot.
What I did:
- Tiger Touch, freshly installed version 5.0
- patched a couple of dimmers, and made a cue
- defined a DMX IN trigger for that cue: Port B, DMX-Address 1
It works right from when the show is loaded (tried 5 switch off/on cycles now).
Please note: I didn't unassign port B from DMX line 2 - from version 5 on, dmx outputs are automatically switched off when no fixture is patched onto it.
Btw., did you make sure the updated firmware is on both DMX panels?
