Pearl 2004 Fixture Problem

I've a problem with the .R20 file in a 2004 pearl. The moving head has
Channel 16 (Intensity) inverted and dimmer goes from 247 (0% intensity) to 0 (100% Intensity) dmx. From 248 to 255 DMX is the reset function.
How can I write my R20 pers?
This is what I've in my pers file:
1 1 H 16 96 1I H 1 "Intensity" 247 247 247
In this way in the desk, when intensity is 0 the dmx out is not limited to 96% and it arrives to 255dmx, in this other way setting channel not inverted like this,
1 1 H 16 96 1N H 1 "Intensity" 247 247 247
Intensity obviously not obey to grand master.
Can someone help me ?

This works when I test it. I like the solution. The proportional reduction is something I'd forgotten about when others have asked about this.

The only difference is that I used 97% which gives DMX 247 and locate value 255 as it appears this is pre-reduction:

Using this the dmx output is 247 when intensity is set to 0% and zero when intensity is set to full (or locate). I cannot find any problem with it although obviously you will not be able to access reset.

Hi nicligths and thanks for your answer!
My problem still remains, and as I've said , because channel is inverted in head's rom, I need to invert channel in the pearl, so when grand master rise to the max, dmx output is 10 and when it falls to 0, dmx output is 255 and the head start reset.
PS: setting 255 in the locate field the head resets as soon is patched or located, 247 is ok.
I hope I was clear... but I'm thinking it's a limit of my 2004 pearl or a software bug.

I'm not sure what else to say. For dimmer DMX range 247 -> 0 the code I used works. ie. Fader at zero = DMX 247, Fader at full = DMX 0, locate = DMX 0. I'm confused why you mention 10?

Are you certain you are patching the correct version? My method would be to edit and save file, wipe console, reset, patch.

I think that channel limit is not inverted when you invert a channel in the fixture file or in the patch utility of the console. I've to try in my pearl 2004 simulator, but the desk is the important...
