led color record and play back on azure 2000
I am really new to this and have run conventional lights and boards , My client has leds and a azure 2000 . any help would be great , I think the genireic #20 personality will fit the leds , again I need help and any would be great, THX I would like to build a color library that I could bring forward with a button and asign it to a fader for playback
i run an Azure 2004 with Chauvet LED Rain 56 and LED Splash JR fixtures. I have found that the easiest way is to find the make and Model of the LED you are using on the Avolite personality website. It should likely be there. You will have to load the profile onto a 3.5" floppy disk (which may be the hardest part now). When you go in the "Patch" mode, make sure the floppy disk is in the drive and select "Fixture" from the softkeys. The desk should look to the floppy drive to get profiles. You then just have to select the correct profile.
Once the profile is loaded and the fixture patched, you can create palettes for the LED's. During the patch process you should be asked if you want to automatically load palettes. If you select yes, the desk will create 10 colors and save them on a palettes page.
Then select the LED fixtures and then the desired palette color and all the selected fixtures will be that color. You should then be able to record that to a playback button for instant access.
This is all in the manual that can be downloaded from the Avolites website.
