Clone/copy/extract

Postby Greg Kershaw » 07 Sep 2011, 08:09

Hi,

sorry about this question , I am new to Avolites.

Can I copy a fixtures attributes to another fixture?

and if so can i apply masking to this function?

Greg

Ohh and is there a "Programmer Time' similar to how the Jands Vista and MA 2 let you put a time on your programming, helps with lamp life on conventionals.
Thanx for your time

Scan the manual for 'Align Fixture'

In a brief:

- apply some value to one fixture
- select the fixtures you want to align, deselecting the previously edited fixture
- hit the ML key (Moving Light menu)
- select 'Align Fixtures'
- you might set the mask to your liking
- hit the select key/button of the fixture you want to align to

Can I do a similar thing but extract attribute values from other cues/cue lists?

Yes of course. Include that other cue (or a particular fixture of that cue) first - this way you get the values you wish into the programmer. Then proceed as described.
