Pearl USB upgrade manual

I know I'm probably aren't looking in the right place, but I have trouble finding the installation manual for the USB upgrade kit of a Pearl 2004.

A colleague of mine bought one, but all he got is the PCB and I think a backplate for the casing. I'm pretty sure there's some cabling involved; is that just standard IDE what you would use for an old PC, or isn't that going to work? If someone could share the PDF or point me in the right direction, that would be great. Thanks!
