Network Settings GONE! Titan V4

Postby tom10293 » 19 Jul 2011, 13:09

Hi Guys,

I usualy pre program most shows on Wysiwyg by using Wygalizer and all usually works fine.
I was on a show at the weekend with a side of stage operating possition so hooked the laptop up to wysiwyg in order to get a virtual front on view of what was going on, but... when i turned the key to system and selected network settings there was no option to press softkey A which would have been Local Area Network

Now the ethernet out the back of the desk was deffinately working, but what threw me was that even when there is no ethernet connected you are still able to open up the Local Area Network menu, but this option had completely gone.

The screen wasnt completely blank as it was still telling me to select an option, but none were given.

Any thoughts??
Cheers,
Tom

Not sure. But if this happens again I would try and open Network Connections from Windows/Control Panel and see if there's anything odd going on (ie no local area connection).

Note that the settings from the system menu are no different from editing there (properties/tcp-ip properties).
