Please can u make that the color from picker can be saved on palette touch button on screen. How would u describe in words custom color u just picked up?
Also make possible to adjust the value with mouse wheel instead one of console wheels.
Use right click to do basic things cut, paste del. open palette edit
like in windows. very quick, instead punching buttons across console.
Do not make it hard for us please!!!

You can label your colour pallets with the LEE colour number which comes closest to your colour. If you don't know those numbers by heart; start studying Maybe I'm beginning to be an old fashioned guy, but in the past we didn't have any other way of identifying colors apart from the LEE numbers Setting a color is already on the list though, and based on the new drawing legends, I'm going to assume you can already do this in V4.

I agree on the context menu item, some actions now require you to use both console buttons and screen options; deleting something for example. It would be better if functions are console or screen based, but not both. A right click context menu isn't a good idea though, since that won't work for touch. How about a windows mobile style context menu? That pops up when you press & hold for a small period of time. With mouse control that could of course also pop up on right button click if you want it to.

For the touch based options; please provide all employees with iPhone like phones, they'll probably get some good inspiration on how intuitive a touch based user interface can get I just received a new HTC desire myself, brilliant interface, even my dad understands it!

I think that's a great idea (as a legend option). It would not have to be restricted to colour picker.

I also agree it is currently a problem where you have to move between touch and console. There are improvements in this area for some functions in next version.
However, as (iCe) says right-click isn't ideal. But neither is a 'hold' function since this may have other applications - for example a playback can be defined as momentary (flash/swop) and a holding a palette brings up filter options. The obvious place for additional functions might be the context menu itself.

For adjusting values without console wheels you can click and drag any suitable attribute in the attribute editor window. I can see an argument for a similar function in the wheel display but there is a danger that it would get confused with the up/down touch buttons which give quick access to 100/0% on ranges.

One thing you might not have considered is you can store macros in any window. There is nothing stopping you recording a [delete], [copy], [move], [clear] etc. I've done this in the past and found it worked very well for the most part.
