pearl start up problems

I have a pearl 2000 with 2004 software and a boris 2 board.
When i startup it stops by energising the pearl. After a few resets he starts up but the complete left side of the desk don't work. If i put some faders up before starting the pearl the diagnostic screen gives the output of the faders I put up as FF but there is no respons after the pearl is starts up. The right side works ok.

I suggest you contact service about this. It's always worth checking connections inside if you haven't already but it sounds like something else is wrong. Perhaps one of the chips on the analogue board?

The first thing to check is the led display on the motherboard whilst its stuck on Pearl energising as the motherboard is not booting up. This will help indicate where a fault could be.

Regarding the problem with the left hand side of the console not working, it would be best to contact me or Tom in the service department to find out more details and get you to try a few things out.
