Getting ArKaos VJ work together with TT Titan 3.1

Hi all,

I tried the 'active fixture' thing to connect ArKaos VJ 3.6.5 to a Tiger Touch (Titan 3.1). Once all settings were done (like: network address, firewall, ArtNet etc.), I could easily patch ArKaos as active fixture, and control it (well, dimmer, position, mask etc.)

Only: neither does the desk show any clips or previews, nor can I effectively select any bank or clip (or picture or text). in fact, the desk shows the 4 banks (camera, picture, movie, text), but no clips and not even just levels for the 'clip' channel). So, it's not exactly operational...

After this, I tried the very same thing with the avo-ArKaos plugin installed. Same result, no avail.

Could anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance.

Just in case anyone bumps into this, too: it's clearly not Avolites' fault.

From the ArKaos support desk:

Only from MediaMaster 1.2, is a correct CITP correctly implemented.

(well, that differs from the list on the official CITP homepage)
Now, the only thing to know is if it works with MediaMaster Express, or with Pro only...

I'll keep you posted as soon as I learn anything more.

Well, express is not supporting CITP. Only the PRO version

We have just discovered that there is a fault with CITP in V3.1 which prevents the clips being shown when connecting to Arkaos. The problem is only with Arkaos although I am not certain why. All other CITP fixtures are unaffected by this problem.

We have a patch which I can send you on request.

Hi Olie, I'd pretty much love to give this patch a try.

However, it's not Avolites to blame, since the ArKaos guys already admitted the VJDMX version won't support full CITP. But at least controlling the banks/clips would be fine.

If you send me the patch, I'll give immediate feedback, either by PM or in this thread.
