Pearl Tiger scene freezing
Hello! I woudl like to freeze the output state, then make changes and then enter all changes by "one move". Let say that I have few fixtures, in two i woudl like to add random strobe, in other change gobos & colours and then add all this in one time to output. It's hard to me to describe this cause of my english... Maybe some of you know what I'm talking about, if not then I'll try to describe it in another way. It is possible to make on Tiger ?
You can use 'blind' mode:
Program mode.
Hold shift and press [BLIND].
Now anything you put in the programmer won't go to stage. You can record the changes into a playback and then when you fire the playback they will go to stage.
To make this easy I recommend using palettes or it might be difficult to know if you have the correct values.
I don't think record palette stores the values from blind mode so you must use record cues, but if you want to do this often then just make sure you have a playback free somewhere. Once you've used it you can always delete or replace it.
Note that while you are in blind mode any intensities from raised preset handles will be lost as they are made available for blind programming. So be careful before entering blind or you could accidentally lose important output to stage. Also, remember to exit blind mode when you are finished or you will be wondering why you can't change attributes!
