Trouble with shapes on a Expert running 2.2. Urgent!

Postby Braathe » 26 Dec 2009, 14:12

So im in a venue doing a show , done some programing trying to get some pan / tilt shapes running. At first i did only get jerky random moves so i figured it could be trouble with the shape files so i reloaded them, but now im not getting any shapes running at all. Also tried to download the newest personality library on a usb and then click update pers lib.
'
console is not updated for titan , is can i still install the 2.1 titan to get the 2.4 classic software?

Anyone who can help me out here ?

And marry x.mas to you all!

I'm sure you can install Titan in order to get Classic but you will probably have difficulty getting it to start in Classic and I don't want to put you in a position of having no console at all.

I'd be inclined to think this problem is more likely to solve itself with restart/wipeall etc. Especially check that SG.dat there.

Have you tried all this and still no luck? Happening on all fixtures? Maybe try dimmer on generics as part of test?

Aye , tried wipe all and restart.
Was happening to all fixtures and dimmers

Ended up tossing in the recovery disc. went for food and im just gonna busk the whole show so everything turned out fine i guess.

As a reference Titan was installed with the recovery disc, but there was no problem staring classic software at all. The menu on the left side is working just like on a updated console.

Of course. Wasn't thinking straight. Limited support and all that. It is holiday after all...?!

Anyhoo, glad you got to eat. That's the most important thing.
