RGB mix on the Azure.

Postby toffs » 25 Sep 2009, 12:55

Hi Folks,

We have a venue with an azure for control and have recently installed 20 LED cans.

When i select these units i can colour mix no problems at all.

However when i save the units as all red to a fader, one for all green and one for all blue i cannot mix with them.

How would i go about creating 3 faders that would allow me to quickly colour mix the fixtures on the fly?

We have a gig this eve so any response would be fantastic.

Thanks in advance.

Either use/create a personality where the attributes are HTP or set playbacks to mode2 (edit times).

Edit Times on a Pearl. I make the assumption it's the same on an Azure.

Bump thread.. I'm trying to do this on v9.. but when i do mode2 for edit times on a playback fader it crossfades.. if I have red up 100%.. then slide the Green fader up the red starts fading out proportionately.. (when Green is at 50%, red is at 50%, when green is at 100%, red is 0%) i can never have red and green up 100%.. i want to be able to quickly build colors on the fly using 3 faders (#1 R, #2 G, #3 B) (not wheels).. TIA..

This is because you have recorded more than one colour component in each playback. Use record by channel and make sure only one component is in the programmer.
