Disappearing Titan dimmer attributes

Postby icatech » 16 Sep 2009, 16:33

We had a similar issue (and posted about it) in earlier versions of the software, but it was quite sporadic and didn't pose too much of a problem. However, in v1.2 we're quite commonly finding that when we try to wheel up a dimmer attribute for any of our fixtures (Mac250 Krypton, Color Blocks, conventional fixtures) it will often drop back to 0% before we even get as far as 50%.

When I say often I mean more than half of the time.

Obviously there's a workaround in terms of using the handles to bring up intensity, but it's very annoying. has anyone else experienced this? If so did you find a solution?

I'm still inclined to think this is a hardware problem where faders are sending zero values. Have you spoken to service?

Hi

First, sorry for my bad english...:-)

I had the same problem. It was a hardware problem, the "Grand Master" Fader is going corrupt. With the diagnostic programm you can check that.

@Niclights, in the Pearl2004 software i can "shortcut" the Master Fader, can i do this in the Titan Software??

An interesting point. I don't think there's a way but maybe a good idea.
