Are The Shapes diffrent in Peral2004&2010 Software

What is the differance between pearl 2004 and 2010 software? Are their new shapes in 2010 software? Is the Pearl2010 software compatible for Pearl 2004

Difference is usb support. There are no new shapes that I know of. Software is not compatible.
