Atomic 3k varying rate

I have a question about the pearl expert and Atomics.

The organisation of some houseparty`s want the atomics flash slowly and then faster, and then again slow. So i thought 'Well, i put the rate under a memorie fader, and the dimmer also. The dimmer is no problem, but when i raise the fader of the rate a little, they are flashing at 100%. So when i`m right it`s an LTP channel. Is it possible to record it as HTP channel? Or is there an other trick to get the rate of the atomics controllable via an fader?

There are plenty of ways, for example:

Use mode 2 (as per the thread you posted in originally).
Create unlinked chase with relevant fade times and manually step.
Patch as single dimmer channels (quick way to get HTP)
Alter personality file to be HTP.
Run Atomic in single channel mode.
