D4 'Freezing'

My D4 is freezing up!

Its refusing to set legents. I will try to set a legend, and it refuses! I pull out the keyboard, and its definatly working - I can make the CAPs lock turn on and off! I try and type, and nothing. Hit ENTER and nothing - I have to manually exit the legend thing via the desk buttons.

Also, it will freeze in a show. When its happened (3 or so times) I am usually grabbing movers, and putting them at an intensity. It will then stop at 37%. I will clear the programmer, it allows me to select, but this time I can't ajust the intensity (but can select the fixtures). Theres nothing in the greybox where the wheel is (usually it says Dimmer, Pan, Tilt etc). Nothing works, I reset the desk and all is fine, for a couple of hours.

Any advice - Help!

The keyboard will only work if the D4 software "has focus" within the operating system. It's quite easy to tell if this is the case by the shade of blue in the title bar at the top of the screen. If it's a deep blue, then it should work. If any typing on the keyboard doesn't work, simply use the trackball to click at any point on the window
