USB on Pearl 2008

Does the USB work on the Pearl 2008? Or will it work in the future?

How About the Pearl '04..?are we able to upgrade it as well so we will be able to use a USB drive to save our shows and update the cache files and so on...

There is an USB update available for Borris3 motherboards.

Hi, my pearl 04 has a Borris3 motherboard.What would be the procedures to go about the upgrade?

Contact your dealer. You'll get a new backplate and some connectors/wires I believe. With the software inplace your pearl should resemble the new 2008 versions.

I personally didn't buy the upgrade, disks still work fine and I find the hardware you're getting isn't worth the price you'll have to pay (600 euro). I know it's also R&D costs and everything, but that's still quite a lot of money.
