Yes shapes works for other fictures. pan movement works normal from pan attribute. i want to now if there is something that i have to include in the r20 file so that shapes will work. is there a area in the personality file that makes shapes work? i don't now how the sg.dat works. maybe you coud explane it to me.

The only part that influences in SG.DAT is that a pattern is associated with a attribute. So, as long as Pan = Pan attribute then Pan shapes will work.
The only thing I can think of in the personality file is moving mirror/head definition. Make sure you have type set to 1 or 2 and that you have max pan & tilt values.

Code: Select all
;----------------------------------------------------------------------------
; Mirror/Head resolution
MIRROR 1 xxx xxx
; | | |
; | | |_______ maximum tilt movement (in degrees)

Just a quick question, but have you set the channels attribute correctly in the DMX table?
e.g:
(The E and F are the Pan and Tilt attributes)
Also, make sure that the pan and tilt channels are in that order, and that you only use each attribute once.
One last question. What is this fixture called? As far as I can tell, Showtec doesn't make any blinders which can use Pan and Tilt.
e.g:
Code: Select all
3 61 L 25 100 1N E 1 "Pan" 128 0 0
3 1 L 26 100 1N F 1 "Tilt" 128 0 0
