Hoping someone can shed some light on this one... I'm fighting a losing battle trying to set the BPM in Avo via a midi trigger. I am sending out midi via Ableton Live Lite 11, with follow set for live tempo tracking. i have tried as a note and as a control message. I have tried within Avo being triggered by Note, by Note On, Note off and by control. At the moment, I either get no response at all or a jump straight to 360BPM.
Tried using the library Tempo Macro as some have suggested instead of the tap button on a fader, but this has no effect.
Has anyone had success getting a similar setup to work?

Re: Setting BPM with Midi Trigger
As already answered in the facebook group this sounds very much like you were trying to trigger a master directly which isn't really possible (there is a thread for this in the ideas section - you may consider voting there).
You can trigger a Tap Tempo macro instead - try one of the dedicated tap macros here: https://avosupport.de/wiki/macros/example/tapbpmmasters
