Editing cues in theatre stack on pearl 2004

Postby msp-lights » 22 Dec 2006, 16:55

When I try to edit my cues on the 2004 I have a problem that they wont!

I follow the manual, so clear, select dimmer, press include. At this point you are meant to press button E to include a cue number. I dont get any options on the soft window to do this like on the simulator, and even though I press E and the number of the vue, nothing gets into the programmer, so nomater what I change, nothing appears to happen when I record the programmer.

If I do this in the simulator it appears to work! Help please. Shows later today!

try selecting the fixtures you're using in the cue you want to configure first and then press include, the swop button ect.you'll then get a choice of including the cue only for selected fixtures or no and you go on with the procedure.hope that will help you(if read before the show)

I'm not at all familiar with theatre stack mode, but by the fact you mention it works in sim but not on the desk I wonder if you are running latest software? 2004 sim was the precursor to the 2004 builds released for the console.

Er yes,

When I looked a bit deeper, my rented 2004 console was running sept 2000 software, upgraded to latest 2004 and problems all solved.

Any issues now are my inabilty to press buttons!

Cheers
