Diamond 4 : Sel If

Postby Kohei » 14 Sep 2006, 02:14

" Sel If "function seems to be not working in Diamond 4.

What I did was :

1.Select the fixtures (which have already got the intensity and the colour in the programmer )

2." Sel If "

3.Press the pallete button which has a colour attribute

or

1." Sel If "

2.Press the pallete button which has a colour attribute

Hi Kohei, what i read out abt "Sel IF" is that for you see which fixtures you have selected for a certain cue. For example, you have a rig of lights.
24 VLSpot3000 and 24 VLWash3000. For you first que, u select only 12 VLSpot3000 and record a memory on fader 1 and so on till the last fader on that particular page. and maybe you wanna find out without looking at the rig wat fixtures you're using for fader 1 which is ur first cue.
So to find out, Push fader 1 up and Press "Sel If" and press the blue colour button...i forgot its flash or swap button right above fader 1.
Hope this helps.jus my 2 cents.

It can sometimes be useful to reselect all fixtures which are Red, for example, to change them to another colour. The Sel If function will automatically select all fixtures in the programmer which are using a certain palette.

1> Press Sel If (above numeric keys).

2> Press a Palette button.

3> All fixtures in the programmer using this palette will be selected.
