So I have a pearl tiger console that I use. My goal was to be able to sit at home using the pearl 2004 simulator and Realizzer 3D to program shows. For now, I have not found a way I can connect the simulator to the visualizer. So I wondered if any of you know about a way. I know it's an old console, but it would have been nice if it worked
I have the same issue and i am using a Pearl Rolacue..and the visualizer I wanted to do the same thing . design shows and create looks with out setting up my complete show.
As there is no network support on the classic Pearl consoles your best option is to buy a USB DMX adaptor that is capable of reading the DMX sent by the console. Many visualisers should support receiving DMX over USB, alternatively you could consider getting a DMX Art-Net box that is capable of receiving standard DMX and converting it to Art-Net which can connect to your computer via Ethernet.
