Hi everybody,
as a longtime avo user in the 90s, I recently worked on a Sapphire 2000. There I discovered a function, which neither I or the local system tech had an explanation for. After applying a shape to some fixtures and hitting the "Memory" button to store this, a third option appeared right of the screen:( under "Record Stage", Record Mode= Channel): Tap to enable Live Update. Just of curiosity, I hit the button, which told me: "Live Update enabled." I kept going with my show, and after the next hitting of "Memory" there was "Tap to.." again. I actually noticed no difference in the behavier of the console at all, so what is this ment for?
kind regards
Sapphire 2000 "Live update enabled"

This function is described in the release notes from the last software-upgrade:
you can get them and the software update from:

7. A new function in the Memory Record menu called Press to enable live
update can be used to automatically load the memory after recording.
This function can be used to prevent lights blinking on the stage after
recording a memory and then clearing the programmer.
