Titan Mobile Palette button/LED

I keep asking this question but never seem to get an answer - What is the purpose of the blue LED above the Grey hardware Palette Button (above the numeric keypad)?

Should it ever light up? The other three next to it do????? Not a life or death situation - just wondering...............

I haven't had a chance to reply to your email which included a question about this today yet and as far as I can see this is the first time you have asked about it here.

The LED above the palette key flashes after pressing Record to indicate you can select it as an entry point to the Record Palette menu. I don't know if it lights (or should light) in any other situation.
