Just checking if this is possible. What I'd like to do is have a sync'd Tilt+Dimmer shape running and be able to control only the size of the tilt. I want them to stay in sync. I can create Tilt+Dimmer by either having a tilt+dimmer shape in the same playback or using a keyframe shape with multiple layers, but doing it that way I think means I can't independently control the size of one of them on the fly, unless I've missed something.
The use case is busking where I'd particularly like the dimmer intensity shape to be at max so that it is still completely visible, but I can manually ride the tilt size as appropriate.
I can work round this by just using separate playbacks, but that can mess with the sync and for some looks it would be great to have the sync nailed down.
Any ideas ?
Thanks.
Tilt Dimmer with independent control of size ?

Re: Tilt Dimmer with independent control of size ?
I think the only way to achieve this at the moment would be to use two playbacks where the tilt one has a size master assigned, then use a cuelist to autoload both of the playbacks (keeping them in sync) and use a separate size master to control the tilt size.
Re: Tilt Dimmer with independent control of size ?
Slight refinement to Nic's suggestion: record Dimmer shape into cue in cue list with the cue list set to Shape Size: Fixed, Kill at 0 and Fire First Cue. Record the tilt shape to a separate cue/memory (this can be put in the Playbacks window) with Shape Size: On Fader. Autoload the tilt shape cue from the cue list. Now you will have a single fader (the cue list) which fires both shapes and the fader will control the size of the tilt shape and the dimmer shape will always come on at full.
As of v10.1 you can also use BPM Masters to synchronise multiple playbacks and their shapes.
