Tiger touch 2 Froze

Postby DouglasStier » 23 Mar 2017, 10:21

Hi,
I used a tiger touch 2 some time ago and I hade a problem with it. The desk froze for like a second and when it froze all the blue lights on the buttons flash and everything lost their dmx so everything went black. But just for one second the back to normal. It happened two times when I was programming and one time right before the intro.

Someone who had similar problems?

My first guess would be that it was autosaving, particularly if it was a large show and/or had a lot of scribble legends. I would recommend turning autosave off at showtime. Otherwise could be hardware related (for example problems with the SSD) but I would have thought there would be more significant issues/symptoms if that was the case.

Are you able to access the console to get the log files?

I'm using the desk today so I will try to turn off autosave and see if works.

There appear to be some USB errors in the log, if you have chance open up the console and check that all the connections are seated correctly.

Yesterday when I was using the desk every blue led on the desk lit up under the show but the lamps didn't black out this time. I have turned off auto save.

All the blue LEDs coming on suggests that the USB panels have reset, I would suggest that you contact your local distributor and see about booking your console in for service. In particular ask them to check the USB hub which might require replacing.
