Hey There,
I am planning on using color scrollers (hopefully Colorram IIs) with my Pearl 2000 (running 2004 software) and am curious as to how I can control them. This could greatly impact my placement of colors on the gel string. Can anyone offer me any insight?
Thanks,
Dustin

There are two personalities provided specifically for this fixture.
WB_CRAMIIM1 - 2 channels - Gel String (LTP), Speed (LTP). Will also allow for a pending dimmer
WB_CRAMIIM2 - 1 Channel - Gel String (LTP). Will also allow for a pending dimmer
I apreciate that the file names and the names on desk could do with swapping with these personalities!

more Q's
Thanks for the personalities, Ed. I'm still unsure as to how I will control the scrollers. For instance, will I be able to set each frame as a preset focus, a memory, a pallette, on a fader? What are the optons?
Thanks,
Dustin
Thanks,

You can control any way you want. Preset focus & palette are the same thing. Memory and fader are the same thing, unless you mean preset fader in which case you would have to define one or both of the channels as dimmers.
Record them as palettes and recall in Takeover mode (with timing if required) or record into memories. This depends on how you are comfortable with working, type of show etc. etc. I see no way how this would affect placement of gels on a string though. Considerations there will be to do with access speed and fades.
