Titan "Auto Created Chase"

Postby renebiemans » 22 Jun 2015, 10:05

Hey,

I'd like to build some auto created chases with Titan. The idea is to build some chase like the bump function in a Grand MA2(I'm not sure if this is called bump and If this is a standard function in the MA or one build by the operator with macro's). I already tested some ideas with macro's but I can't get the right result. I tried some things with macro's palletes etc.

The thing I'd like to create is like the bump function on the Grand Ma2. So for example:
- LED Pars are already on RED.(So is not present in the programmer)
- I select A pallet/macro or something with a BLUE color.(so is present in the programmer)
- This then should be used in a odd/even or 1/4 chase with or without fade etc. With the RED and BLUE color. Which should be auto created by a macro or which was allready created and uses a pallete which is built correctly by macro or something.
I'd like to build one function for ALL attributes: X/Y, Color, Gobo, Strobe etc. So only the attributes which are in the programmer or pallete should be used.

The thing I tried for myself:
- One pallete which is used for a chase
- A chase which is o/e which uses this pallete(with cue relase etc)
Then I would like to change this pallete to a color pallete or XY pallete etc. So this pallete should be made empty or should be replaced by a pallete which I select. But for some reason I can't create an empty pallete or is it very dificult to change the attributes of this pallette.

I also tried some other thing but all without a good result. I was also thinking about custom made macro's by XML but is there some documentation about this? And where can I find the macro's which are created in the show? Because I'd like to create a macro and then edit this in XML.

The reason why I'd like to create this is that when this is working this will mean I can create multiple effects really quick with all kinds of fixtures attributes etc.

Do you have some ideas to create this?

Hello,

that's something that really would be helpful.
Before I changed to Avolites I used Cuelux from time to time.
This Software had a Feature called Wizzard.
With that you could select fixtures, then say whats the low Attribute (for example Color red), the high Attribute (Color blue) and how you want to distribute it. (Random, stepping up, and so on).
That created a chaser.

Another feature I really hope that will be realized is that I can set different times on a shape. Then I could use a color or dimmer shape and for example use a tap tempo. That would be at least similar from the result.

Best regards
Jürgen

I'm searching to do this with the standard functionality. I think that this should be possible with some custom macro's, but how?
