Smooth shape start

I record a look on one playback and then record a movement shape on another (channel record, size/speed on fader). When I have the look fader up and slowly bring in the movement it jumps to start.
Is there a way of making it a smooth slow start when activating that shape playback?

Thanks. I always used mode 2 on classic but understood that size/speed on fader is a better option on Titan.
I wasn't clear on the post, I just want fader control of shape speed not size. When bringing up the fader it jumps to first size value then continues shape slowly. What I need is a slow transition to the first point.
It's fine if also setting the size to fader or mode 2 but I only want speed control.

You are correct that you don't need mode 2 here. Try just setting a fade in time. Or alternatively put size on fader, speed fixed and then have a separate speed master to control the speed.
