questions about pearl 2010 problems

Postby hideljm » 02 Oct 2014, 05:53

Hello
i'm using pearl 2010 and i think it's lastest version of sw.
I have two problems to solve.

First one is about clock. In system mode, you know you can set the current time and date right?
when i set the chrrent date and time it works fine.
But several days after, i can find out that the time isn't correct. it's getting faster.
so after few weeks, it's 2 or 3 minutes faster than currnt time.
i keep reset the time but same happens.
i was thinking that because of low internal battery RTC is not working properly. but i can't find the replacing the internal batt in the manual.

Second problem is numeric keypad.
few days before numeric keypad 7 doesn't work well.
when i trying to number '70' , i have to push keypad 7 several times to number '7'. and sometimes when i press kegpad 7 only one time, there's 77 on the lcd screen. it was really fraustrating me and i thought it's mechanical problem which i used keypad 7 too much.
But i was wrong. yesterday when i press keypad 7, it worked totally fine like others. Then i realiseed that keypad 2 is not working properly like keypad 7 did it before. So i can find out that it's software problem.

This is all i can find out. i need yor help.
Please give some advise .
thank you.

The keypad sounds hardware to me still ..

I would check all connections inside the desk .

You can test keypresses by going to System/[Service]/[Diagnostics]
