Hi there,
I'm programming T1 to operate the lighting in a small nightclub environment. My only problem is getting my strobe effect to run correctly. I have it programmed as a chase on a playback fader. I had planned to use it by tapping flash or swop whenever I need it. It looks great by itself, but if I use flash it merges with whatever club colour chase is playing at the time and looks ugly. If I solo it with the swop button then my house lights are dimmed and my movers go to home position until I release it. So how is this effect typically done?
I'm a complete newbie so forgive me if this is something simple or I'm in the wrong place.
Thank you

Re: Strobe effect
One option might be to set any playbacks you don't want affected (for example house light, positional shape etc.) to a higher priority than the playback with your chase. Then when you solo (swop) the chase playback the houselights and shape will carry on but everything else will go off.
To set the priority use [Playback Options]/select playback and then toggle the priority softkey until it reads [High] (as an example). You might need to use the [Prev] and [Next] softkeys in playback options to show the priority softkey.

Re: Strobe effect
Ok! Brilliant, So I'm halfway there.
Adjusting the priorities does prevent the house lights from dimming and the movers going to home position. Thank you!!
Now my problem is that the movers are no longer affected by my club colour chases. Since the priority of my house lights and mover shape control are set to very high, and my strobe effect is set to high, my club colour chases must be on normal priority. So that leaves my movers blank when the colour chase is running.
I'm sure it's something simple.
