Shared pallets

Postby (iCe) » 08 Nov 2005, 19:29

Is it possible to create combined shared pallets for multiple fixture types? I want the first 10 pallets to contain colour for spots and washes. By using shared pallets I only have to program one fixture and the rest follows: nice feature, but I cannot do this for spots and washes. Because multiple fixtures become recorded the pallet isn't shared anymore.

I'd like pallets to be shared as long as only one fixture of each type is in there, is that possible?

Hmmm. I thought it was supposed to work like that, but I may be wrong.

I will try it tomorrow.

I'm assuming you are using the latest software build.

It is suposed to work like that. You may need to record the first type and then record the second type seperately but on the same palette.

I guess I'm doing something wrong then... my actions:

- clear programmer
- select first washlight (handle 5)
- press colour: set to 0%
- press CMY: all to 0%
- press "store palette" and press first pallet button
- now go to colour and scroll it to CTC filter
- press "store palette" and press second pallet button

- clear programmer
- select all patched washlights (handle 5-10)
- press pallet 1 or 2: nothing happens?

What am I doing wrong here?

Edit: eeeh weird... I just wiped the desk and repeated the same set of actions, now it does work. Somekind of setup fault I made I guess... thanks though!
