A restart might fix it.
Is it a pro console with UPS?

Ive restarted 4 times, and its not a pro version.
running 7.0 software currently.

Re: Expert titan "Dongle Not Found"
If it is running v7.0 it may be due to the time limit expiring. The best option would be to upgrade to v7.4 which, after the console has been licensed, does not have a time limit.

Re: Expert titan "Dongle Not Found"
still trying to deal with this.
Im trying to revert to 7.0 using a usb boot, but I cant get into bios. In the instructions it says to hold delete during boot, but that just hangs the OS and nothing happens. Ive tried every other usual bios button, and even used an external keyboard, and still cant access bios to change boot sequence. The console is an expert titan, not the pro version.

Re: Expert titan "Dongle Not Found"
I usually press the del key on the internal keyboard repeatedly after powering up until it enters BIOS. Does this not work?
What happened when you installed 7.4?

Re: Expert titan "Dongle Not Found"
I had the same thing yesterday, I am much of a newbie but here a few things, maybe they help.
I could not boot from USB either. That delete button to get into BIOS did not work either, but I had a message earlier (when creating the recovery) saying that this boot-action was not needed for Expert. Perhaps it is already set to the right settings.
I also read that if your console is Windows XP, it won't make the stick bootable on it's own so you need an extra program for that called RMPrep. (Haven't used it yet, got this tip here yesterday) So it could be that your console doesn't boot because your stick simply isn't bootable.
Yesterday I was going from 6.1 to 7.4, I first went to 7.1 (because there was no path from 6.1 to 7.4 directly) and it did the same dongle-error. People on here told me to update to 7.4 and that worked. So perhaps you should try doing so, but make sure you have a camera nearby
Also, I got this from Gregory, didn't work for me on the 7.1 version but maybe it will for you:

Gregory wrote:You need to update the firmware of the USB panels before you will be able to continue. From the Tools menu select Shutdown Software, then from the Control Panel sub-menu, select USB Expert Console. From it's menu select Tools > Acw Service > Start. Once the USB panels have appeared on the left hand side select the Service tab on the right and click the Update Now button. It will automatically update each panel in turn, once it is complete please close USB Expert Console and select Restart Software from the main Tools menu.

Re: Expert titan "Dongle Not Found"
I cant complete the license because my serial isnt recognized, so I was told it may have been something on the initial 7.1 install. currently I have 7.4 installed, but apparently have to revert to 7.1 to change it... which of course I cant do because I cant do a boot disk, because I cant get into bios.
So instead of being able to deal with this on Avolites end, by using the provided pictures, or by them just taking care of it, I have to spend hours and hours of my time dealing with operating system problems, boot disks, for something that has absolutely nothing with making lights turn on and wiggle in a pleasing way. After spending 18 grand on a console, its pretty insulting.
If you guys dont plan on a complete overhaul of this system, at least fix it, and provide an easier way to get it done, or at the VERY LEAST check your install instructions that you provide and make sure their correct for the people who have bought consoles. I understand what you're trying to accomplish, but the onus to protect your intellectual property and copyrights should be on you, not on me, the consumer, which is why we bought higher end consoles in the first place.

Sad and happy to hear I'm not the only one this dongle thing is happening to.
Re: Expert titan "Dongle Not Found"
Have you checked to see if there are any panel updates in Usb Console?
