7.3 upgrade no dmx output Sapphire

I just upgraded to 7.3 on out Sapphire Touch. The full licensing is in processing and i have the board up with a temporary license. What is happening now is that the board will not output DMX and when i update the Personality files i dont get the updated personality files....I have two pearls, two TT's, and another Sapphire i need to license but if it is going to brick my desks no thanks.... Any help will be greatly appreciated seems like something happens every time i update.... FRUSTRATED!

Can you open Usb Expert and see what the status of the DMX panels is showing? Also try selecting the service tab and check if there are any firmware updates for the panels if you haven't already.

Regarding personality files, by 'update' do you mean install a new library or the [Update Personality] option from patch?

I updated the firmware in USB expert after the initial reboot. The status is good on the dmx but the usb panel is not. I was thinking that was because of the temporary license. I installed the fixture library as instructed via the update procedure and did not get say "Blizzard lighting" in the fixture list. Also the indexing fixtures processes extremely fast compared to the other sapphire i have setup running 7.2 which has many more personalities in the list and takes a solid 3-5 seconds to load as opposed to the almost immediate loading i get with 7.3. No i am not updating fixtures in a show.

None of this is to do with the license - there is no difference between the temporary and the full license other than the time limit. If Titan starts then this is working correctly.

The Ups panel warning is probably nothing to worry about. Are the Expert nodes all showing as assigned normally in DMX Settings?

Library update sounds odd. The file is essentially just a self-extracting archive which copies all the files to D:\TitanData\FixtureLibrary. If you look at this in Explorer how does it look? I don't know the total number of files off the top of my head but it might give you a clue. I might be tempted to download the Sapphire Touch library again just in case.

When I compared the dmx settings from the working Sapphire (7.2) to the Sapphire (7.3) everything matched up. I am not in front of the console anymore have gone home for the day but I could check on it tomorrow and give you specific data if need be.

Quick question tho....if one reverts back to 7.2 do I have to go through the licensing process again if I then update to 7.3?

No, once you have a full license this will persist even if you change versions. If you are asked for the license again then use the token file which was emailed to you

Awesome so I have the full license now...Very timely! The expert DMX was the problem *FACE PALM*....set it up and now everything is fine. Thanks for the help as always.

Also I downloaded the personality file for Sapphire again and reinstalled after getting the full license and all is well on that end too.

I wanted to download the 7.3 software but I couldn't find it.
Yesterday it was on the website but now it's gone but I can only download 7.2.

Does anyone know why it's not for download anymore?

I heard its a website malfunction....luckily I downloaded all the versions for each console on Friday....been uploading license requests all day...

7.4 is now up. This is to fix a bug in 7.3 that could affect a small number of users.
