Palette Masks Not recalling

Postby re.mark » 26 Feb 2014, 16:54

Hi,

Titan One (7.2) on an acer (Win 8)

Recorded a load of position palettes, normal mode, Masked to P - they work fine.
Recorded a load of position shapes, normal mode, Masked to FX - they work fine.
Close and re load the show and half of the position shapes will forget their mask so in effect become useless palettes.

You can see here, all my shape palettes. Before the Show was reloaded they all had FX include masks only, reloading the show and half of them randomly have 'forgotten' their masks.

Is this a bug?

The mask is only a filter when recording. The IPCGBESFX indicator shows what attributes are contained in the recorded palette.

So on the face of it I would say nothing was recorded in palettes 54, 56, 62 and 63.

I'm not saying that something hasn't gone wrong but are you absolutely certain that they worked before?

100% positive that those palettes previously worked.

Ok, I've now had chance to look into this and can confirm there appears to be a bug.

As far as I can see this specifically affects palettes containing FX whereby on load show they are empty. Unfortunately I have not yet been able to find any pattern beyond that and therefore I cannot suggest any workaround.

I have entered this into the system for further investigation.

Glad its not my programming then.
I'll just stick shapes on playbacks for the time being...
