Does anyone know how to make a 'Crossfade 0%, 25%, 50% ...' macro that changes the crossfade of the selected chase?
I tried recording the macro and moving the crossfade slider but nothing came of it....
Is it possible to link the tap tempo macro to the strobe of another light and not a chase?
Thanks

Re: Macros (again)
The only way I can think of to make a crossfade macro is by way of [Edit Times]. The limitation of this will be it will reference physical buttons and will require you to be on the correct page and not move the playback etc:
- Record macro/select destination for macro
- Shift+Exit (to ensure it is back in the root menu)
- Softkey A ([Edit Times])
- Select chase handle
- Softkey B ([XFade = ])
- (Type 0/25/50/100 on keypad as required)
- Enter
- Exit (to move back to root)
- End recording macro
There is currently no way to link tap tempo to anything other than chase (or shape/effect speed via a speed master). One of the problems is that fixture manufacturers rarely specify the strobe speeds on shutter channels.
Note that the tap tempo macro is designed to replace the [Tap Tempo] softkey for consoles that do not have a run mode. When assigned to a handle this allows you to tap the tempo of any connected chase. This is different to setting up a key profile which places the tap on individual handles.

Re: Macros (again)
I have added some macros to the library that should set the connected chase to 0%, 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% cross fade. The first and last should work fine however the middle ones require two steps to set the value, hopefully shouldn't be too noticeable. The macro library is included as part of the personality library.
