Swap in/out many playbacks at once

Postby jgubby » 05 Oct 2005, 16:53

I would like to know how to swap many playbacks at once. For example, if a group of fixtures are performing a specified movement and a specified colour chase at once, I would like to change both of these at once. i.e, set up the change while the first group is running and then apply all the changes at once.

I dont want to use theatre stack since it would be too rigid for club lighting.

Let us assume for a moment that I dont have enough fingers to perform this task myself...

Regards
James

I'm having trouble understanding what you want to do. 'swap many playbacks at once'?

Can you explain in more detail?

The key to flexibility is careful use of patching, playback arrangement across pages and most importantly palettes & accurate programming with 'record by channel'

I got your email as well so I will just paste here my reply.

There is currently no means in the Pearl 2004 to do this. However I think it is a nice idea and so will add it to the list of feature requests for the console. So hopefully you will see this function in a future software release.

Nick: I think that when he says swop he does not mean swop but just simply put in a look all at once.
