Ok, because Titan v6 has bugs recording with Tracking Off and I want Tracking Off: I need to play my cues with Tracking Off, and record/modify them with Tracking On.. So I decided it would be great to have a macro to turn Tracking On & Off with one push of the button.. As far as I know the only way I could do this was to create 10 macros for each playback fader that has a cue list on it.. (eg, i push macro1 to toggle tracking on/off on cue list 1/playback fader 1), push macro7 to toggle tracking on/off on cue list 7/playback fader 7...
My desired 4 macro key strokes are: #1 EXIT (to confirm the touch menus are at a point where I can enter "Playback Options"), #2 PLAYBACK OPTIONS (to get to the Tracking On/Off section), #3 CUE LIST (#) (where i select 1 thru 10 depending on the macro number), #4 TRACKING (to toggle tracking on or off - with it depending on what state it WAS in)
This works sometimes, but when I push the macro button, i'm almost always getting the menu: "Use handles to Select playbacks to autoload in Cue List Playbacks[1] cue"...
Any suggestions for my request would be appreciated! No idea what I'm doing wrong.. to record a macro i'm currently: pushing MACRO, hitting RECORD, pushing the available macro button, pushing EXIT, pushing PLAYBACK OPTIONS, pushing the handle to select what playback options I want to set, pushing TRACKING ON (or OFF), then I hit MACRO again to finish recording it...
Thx ....

Re: macro problem
This is because the macro is only recording softkeys, rather than the function itself. The cue-list playback options menu has more than one page and remembers which one you last used. Therefore if, when you last used playback options, you were on the page that has the tracking option it will work. However, if you were on one of the other pages it will not. I cannot see any solution to this at the moment other than making sure you are on the correct page first.
Re: macro problem
ok i did know its only recording softkeys, and i'm making sure to know i'm on the correct playback options page before triggering the macro but it is still messing up by showing ""Use handles to Select playbacks to autoload in Cue List Playbacks[1] cue"...".... if you get a chance - plz test it out on your end I think youll have same problem?
Re: macro problem
Initially I could not see a problem, but now I notice that on occasion it does give the autoload menu when it should not. I can only think that this is because there is a timing issue where sometimes it is actioning the softkey before reading the current menu position. Solution is to record the macro in real time.
Re: macro problem
That is a great workaround.. thanks for pointing out there is a "real time" option! didnt find in manual
