Parking dimmers on pearl 2008

Postby David Boots » 27 Apr 2013, 14:04

I have a gig coming up where the moving light power is run through the dimmers... the dimmers need to be patched as non-dim and parked so that the swop buttons won't have any effect on them... is this possible to do on a Pearl 2008?

We've been here before. There are no specific functions for this in Classic. It 'might' work by defining a custom curve that is always on but personally I would just patch generic LTP fixtures and store/recall a palette which set them all to full.

Thanks Nic,
I figured it was an old subject but I couldn't find anything by doing a search.

Fyi... I have found that you can patch the dimmers as a relay and then pull the swop master down and then the swop buttons will have no effect... I think this will get me through the show.
