I have patched 24 Generic RGB 24-channel led fixtures. I create the following chase:
- Step 1. All virtual dimmers 100%
- Step 2. All virtual dimmers 0%
I set the crossfade to 100% and fixture overlap to 0%. Now the led tubes fade as a single fixture, the individual cells do not fade after each other.
Can you make a setting at the fixture overlap that says it will include subfixtures?
Fixture overlap on sub-fixtures

It is possible to change this by modifying your selection before recording the chase like follows:
In the chase created above the fixture overlap will work on each cell rather than each fixture.
- Select your 24 fixtures either directly or using a group.
- Press the . (decimal point) on the keypad followed by Enter. This selects all the sub-fixtures of the selected fixtures.
- Put the dimmer to full and record your first step in the chase.
- Put the dimmer to zero and record the second step.
In the chase created above the fixture overlap will work on each cell rather than each fixture.
A list of all the tricks wouldn't be small! However, the release notes contain some useful overviews.
See 6.0 New Features section 20 for sub fixture numeric selection options.
