Running smoke machines from Titan

In a place where I do some programming they've got four smoke machines (one dmx channel each). I've set them up to run manually on the faders, but it's really difficult to make it work well as their each location need a different amount of smoke... Is there any way to timer them or run them with a dimmer shape or something? I know the best solutution would be to use hazers instead, but that's not an option now...

Couldn't you write a macro to do this ?

Fog machine 1 at X output for X seconds .
Fog Machine 2 at X Output for X seconds

so on an so on ?

I think that is how you can do it .. to be honest I'm not sure.....

Hopefully someone from Avo or who knows more will be along ..

Macros record sequences of button presses. For this application to work make sure you enable real-time mode.

I read the manual every evening before bedtime but I think the manual is sometimes hard to understand...

Honestly, I didn't get the point in using macros for this. Depending from the very model of the fogger, you might program a chaser instead.

However, I admit the manual is not exactly clear on timing in Macros. But just ask

The way I read the macro solution was to provide a button, or buttons you can press that will then fire the smoke for the required amount of time at a specified level. If they need to automatically fire then a chase or cuelist would be the way to go. Maybe even a combination of list and macro if you like.
