Titan Mobile info

Hi @ all,
I would like to buy titan mobile but I have some questions for experts users.
I just have a multitouch lcd 23" monitor, it is possible to connect it and use titan on mac mini?
or other mini pc?
So I could have a complete consolle with low space.

Hi Carlo,

Mac Mini would work, however, it's strongly recommended to run Windows in Bootcamp. No experience with virtual windows - I would never run a show from a virtual environment.

As for the Touchscreen: essentially it should work, as long as Windows recognizes the touchscreen. But the software doesn't support multitouch (even if windows does - from 7 on).

I have a Titan Mobile running from an Apple Mac Mini using Bootcamp. Works a treat! I did swap out the HD for a SSD so it was more flight case friendly and upgraded the ram. It used to take about 20-30 seconds to startup but now takes about 10 seconds to boot into windows 7 32bit. I have a 22" touch screen with it and yeah it has all the functions of a normal windows computer but with the build quality of an Apple product. Must stress Titan likes 32bit Windows better the 64bit. Plus the Mac Mini has four USB ports which is great as the Titan Mobile Wing takes up two USBs to work, then I have one for the touch screen and then one for a USB lamp or USB drive for transfer of show files. Hope this Helps.

Other questions.

I don't like very much W7... would be possible run titan witha powerfull ram's pc with xp professional installed? I supposed it will be more stable than 7 or I am wrong?

XP pro will be okay as well. Please note that you'll have to make sure DotNetFramework is installed.

However, I'd say W7 is again a good OS from M$, no need to worry for stability. In turn, bugfixes will be provided for W7 - XP is (soon) out of service, on behalf of M$.

I think to buy an MSI pc all in one touch screen with installed in w 7 32 bit like a OS.

So in low space i have a complete controll.
Do U think this is a good choice?

Yeah, All-In-One PCs are a good choice. However, the cheaper ones usually sport some Intel GMA graphic chip, and usually no secondary monitor out. Since it's scheduled for one future version of the mobile to support a second screen, some extra bucks for the proper configuration are certainly a good investment.

I am using a Acer Z series 23" touch screen all in one PC. Works fine in 64bit with Windows 7. I have an Iilama 17" touch screen monitor which I used with Tiger Touch as a second screen perfectly well and without problems. This is connected to the Acer and displays the second screen when in PC mode fine. Once Titan Mobile supports the second screen this should work fine giving me two touch screens.
