Postby tony » 03 Feb 2011, 13:41

Hi,
I am experiencing the following problem with my pearl 2010. In RUN mode, If I have a playback slider up,...... and while that playback is running, IF I press a FLASH for a dimmer from the top banks, the playback blacksout as long as the flash button is pressed ............ on releasing the flash button, the playback contihues as normal

What am I doing wrong, or is it my console?? I have a big gig coming up in 2 days, need urgent advice guys , Thankyou

Just to check, are you definitely pressing the grey button or are you pressing the blue button?

I'm busy with a show at the moment but there's something familiar about this. It might sound strange but try storing a palette on that key even though you are using run mode.

Actually had rented out my board to someone else and when it came back, it started doing this even after a WIPEALL, I am not sure if its just a setting on the board or a hardware/software problem

Starting to sound more like hardware. Might be worth having a look at diagnostics and see if there are any clues.

At this point I think you should email service.
