No. Actually i can patch fixtures that are already existing in my console"s cache.I just created a fixture personality in the avolites software, export it as R20 file and then import it in the console. Then i try to patch the fixture and there comes the problem!

If it works ok from wipeall it suggests a problem with the show but if you can post the code here I will take a look. Please enclose it in the 'Code' tags.

Just open the .r20 in a text editor (ie. Notepad), copy all, then in your reply here press the 'Code' button at the top and then paste.

Re: patching problem

The first line should be commented out (ie. it should have a semicolon ';' at the beginning of the line). However, I think this is almost certainly just a copy/paste error here.

So assuming that's the case I can't see much wrong. But I wonder if it doesn't like the device name and/or the folder structure on the Usb stick. For the device name try adding 'UK' to the beginning (for example 'UKanthi2') and change the manufacturer name from 'china' to 'Unknown'. For the folder structure use Copy 2008. Instructions are included but all you need to do is unzip, place the .exe file in the root of your Usb Stick along with the .R20 and then launch the executable. This should create the correct directory structure and add the SG.DAT shapefile that is required.

Try those two things. If that works I would suggest changing white to LTP (currently it is set to Instant LTP) and the locate value for dimmer looks wrong at 100. Usually it would be 255 unless it is a combined dimmer/shutter control.
