Position affects other fixtures

Postby Tmikol9 » 22 Nov 2024, 00:40

Hello, titan v16 on quartz, I have a problem when I select fixtures, set position and store it to positions and click on that then other fixtures that were not stored in that position automatically go to pan 0 and tilt 0. It happens with various fixtures.

You may wish to check which mode your are recording the palette in. Shared and Global will apply the stored values to fixtures of the same type or all fixture types respectively. More details can be found in the manual. There is also a user setting that effect the default palette record mode.

After recording the palette you could press View and then select the palette to see what is recorded in it. You could potentially edit or remove values if they are not correct.

Are you using Quick Record i.e. double tapping in the Positions window or using the Record/Record Palette button? The latter has options in the menu, such as attribute mask, which are remembered from the last time it was used whereas Quick Record sets the attribute mask based on the workspace window.
